BENGALURU: Kinsane, a global digital entertainment startup targeting the childrens’ segment, has raised $2.5 million in a funding round led by Neeraj Bhargava, former CEO and co founder of WNS and founder of Zodius Capital, among other investors.
The startup specifically targets children between 2 and 11years of age and plans to use a combination of transaction, advertising and a subscription-based revenue model.

“The focus is to create a variety of videos and games featuring original characters to children... these can eventually become global brands,” said Pranab Punj, chief marketing officer, Kinsane.
The company plans to launch eight new shows and 100 games featuring 30 new characters in the next 12 months.
